Time and Place

The Find a location link is kind of like an advanced search for finding your pick-up location. It provides you with several options to search for your location. You can search for your location using a world map, airport codes or by using an advanced search program.
This is where you rent the car. If you know the three-letter airport/location code you can enter that information here. (i.e. DFW, DCA, YYZ). Enter a city, state/province, country (i.e. Orlando, California, Costa Rica). If you are unsure of the spelling, enter the first three letters of the city, state/province, or country name. We will search for the location and return the most likely choices. If you would like to search for your location using different methods, click the Pick-up Location link, which is like an advanced search for finding your pick-up location.
This is to ensure you get an accurate rate quote. Check here if you reside locally. Mileage limitations may be applied at the time of pick-up for renters who reside in the local area, depending on location policy.
Some Thrifty locations offer one-way rentals, which are when a customer would like to pick up a vehicle at one of our locations but return it at a different Thrifty location. Check the Return to different location checkbox, and once you provide all of your rental information and click the GET RATES button, we will display a list of places where you can return the vehicle.
This is the date and time you wish to pick-up the vehicle. Select the month/year and the day of the month from the drop-down lists, or click the calendar icon to select the date from a calendar pop-up window. From the calendar pop-up window, narrow the range of dates shown by selecting the month/year from the drop-down list and click on the day you want. This populates the month/year and day fields. Next, select the time of day you wish to pick-up the vehicle. This lets us know when to expect you.
This is the date and time you wish to drop-off the vehicle. Select the month/year and the day of the month from the drop-down lists, or click the calendar icon to select the date from a calendar pop-up window. From the calendar pop-up window, narrow the range of dates shown by selecting the month/year from the drop-down list and click on the day you want. This populates the month/year and day fields. Next, select the time of day you wish to drop-off the vehicle. This lets us know when to expect you back. The drop-off date must be later than the pick-up date.
Car
If you know the specific type of car class you wish to reserve, select it from the drop-down list. Finish filling out the rest of your reservation information (if you haven't already done so) and click the GET RATES button. This takes you to the Car Type & Rate - Detail screen showing the type of vehicle you selected. If you do not know the specific type of car class you wish to reserve make sure the Show all types option is selected to decide later in the reservation process.
This is where you enter your company's negotiated Thrifty Corporate Identification Number. Type the number in the Corporate# field before you click the GET RATES button to take advantage of your discount. We do deals all the time, so some potentially lower rates may not be available with this discount.
Check the Show only corporate rates checkbox if you would like to see only the corporate rates.
This is where you enter one of Thrifty's advertised Promotion Codes for your special rate or discount. Type the promotion code in the Promotion# field before you click the GET RATES button to take advantage of your discount. We do deals all the time, so some potentially lower rates may not be available with this discount.
This is where you enter a discount code you want to use. Enter either your company's negotiated Thrifty Corporate Identification Number here or if you have one of Thrifty's advertised promotion codes, enter it here for your special rate or discount.
