Philadelphia Flower and Garden Show

Every March, flower lovers gather in the City of Brotherly Love for the world's largest indoor floral exhibition, the Philadelphia Flower and Garden Show. The event features landscape displays, horticultural and floral competitions and butterfly exhibits. As the show's motto puts it, every flower show is a work of art. After all, the Flower Show is part of ARTiculture, where art meets horticulture. Pick up your Philadelphia airport rental car to find your way to this colorful event.

About the Show

The Philadelphia Flower Show has been around for more than 185 years. The event merges the nation's largest flower show with the art museum, attracting more than 260,000 annually. Besides admiring the bright bulbs, visitors can delight in complimentary wine tastings, culinary presentations and shopping in the marketplace.

Get ready for captivating designs, live entertainment, culinary demonstrations and lectures by experts. For those who want to improve their gardening skills, they can check out the how-to workshops where experts teach different techniques, planting methods and pruning tricks.

Generally, the flower show lasts about 10 days. Each year there are more than 200 volunteer judges from across the country who give out at least 60 awards over the course of event. Judging occurs daily. Experienced horticulturists, landscape architects, flower arrangers and designers all make their way to the Flower Show. Whether you're a pro or just enjoy gardening, it's a wise idea to pick up a Pennsylvania rental car before heading to the action.
