Business travel can be exhausting - you're not the only one who relies on constantly needing a cup of coffee in hand. However, ingesting too much caffeine as you prepare to give that string of important presentations can be detrimental to your health. Instead, try these natural ways to get energized:

Exercise
If you are able, wake up one half hour earlier and hit the gym at your hotel before heading to the big meeting. It will get you energized and ready to confront the day. If your hectic schedule has you dragging, take a 10 minute walk around outside - it will do you good.

Eat a snack
Your body needs fuel in order to operate efficiently, and skipping a meal is a good way to ensure that you crash mid-afternoon. Instead, eat small, healthy snacks like nuts and berries throughout the day.

Drink water
If you're feeling fatigued, it's possible that you're dehydrated. This is particularly likely if you've recently flown on an airplane, so be sure to keep a water bottle with you at all times and sip from it regularly.
