THRIFTY CAR RENTAL OFFERS DOUBLE MILES ON SIX AIRLINES AT FLORIDA DESTINATIONS

Tulsa, Okla. - Thrifty Car Rental, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG),   will offer customers double frequent flyer miles with six airline partners for advance reservations made at any participating Thrifty location in Florida.  The offer is valid only on rentals in Florida booked in advance on THRIFTY.com from July 1, 2006 through August 14, 2006.

A minimum two-day rental of a compact car or larger vehicle from Thrifty is required.  Participating airline partners include American Airlines ^® AAdvantage^®, Continental^® OnePass^®, Delta Air Lines^® SkyMiles^®, Northwest Airlines^® WorldPerks^®, United Airlines^® Mileage Plus^® and US Airways ^® Dividend Miles^® frequent flyer programs.
