TULSA, Okla. - Thrifty Car Rental, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG) today announced the opening of a new franchised location in Daphne, Alabama, a suburb of Mobile on the east side of Mobile Bay near the popular tourist destinations of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Foley.
The new location's address is 2005 Highway 98 in Daphne and is owned and operated by Dan Hardy and Pam Mysorewalla of South Florida Transport (dba Thrifty Car Rental). Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The location has a full line of economy through full size cars, as well as minivans, passenger vans, full size pickups, convertibles and SUVs.
