Marlins Park

Drive your Miami rental car to 501 Marlins Way to see the Marlins Major League Baseball team play at home. The facility has a retractable roof, so intense sun and rain aren't an issue for players or spectators. The team plays in front of 37,000 seats for screaming Marlins fans and visitors. The stadium was featured on the National Geographic Channel's "Fish Tank Kings" when the aquariums located behind the backstop were built by Living Color Aquariums. Be sure to take a stroll to the area to enjoy stunning local fish and get a close view of the game. Don your orange and blue and head to this stadium to have an in-person MLB experience with the Miami Marlins.

Safari Edventure

Have you ever wanted to visit with a kangaroo or pet a sloth? This is your chance. Head to 23700 South West 142 Avenue in Miami to visit Safari Edventure. This non-profit provides the public with hands-on interactions with kangaroos, arctic wolves and timber wolves Wednesdays through Sundays. You can also hold an alligator! Now that's an occasion to have a camera on hand. Several times a day there are presentations about the animal residents and you can even win a free pass to come back to the location if you spot Walter the toy owl during your visit. Safari Edventure covers 5 acres of rainforest including a hummingbird and butterfly garden. There is also an organic garden that contains herbs and spices that you might be familiar with from eating pizza. It is recommended that you plan to spend around three to four hours here because there is a lot to take in and enjoy. The animal keepers and staff members are happy to answer any questions visitors have about the residents and their unique habitats so feel free to ask!
