Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

The Notre-Dame Basilica is perhaps the most iconic building in Montreal. The Baroque-style structure was completed in 1683, when it was originally operated by the Jesuits. It was rebuilt and expanded nearly 200 years later and dedicated to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, though a fire meant much of the building had to be replaced. While there's a fee to tour the church, everyone is welcome to come by for free on Sundays for mass.
