A business trip takes a lot more preparation than many people realize. After all, you must book a flight, shop for cars for business travel and get all your documents and work papers in order. Packing is another issue all its own, but you can make the task easier with these simple tips:

  • Wrap your shoes in a shower cap to prevent shoes from dirtying up clothes and other items.
  • Roll clothes rather than folding them to avoid wrinkles and save space in your luggage.
  • Place a dryer sheet in your suitcase to keep clothes smelling fresh and clean.
  • Use a pill container for small items, such as jewelry and cufflinks.
  • Roll up your belts and place them in the circle of your shirt collars to keep the collars stiff.
  • For liquid items, place plastic wrap over the openings of containers and then seal them with the cap to prevent leakage.
  • Use pill or contact cases to store small amounts of lotions, concealers or other liquids that you only need in limited amounts.
  • Wrap your cords around old gift cards or pieces of cardboard to prevent tangling.

Use a roll-aboard suitcase to save your back from unnecessary wear and tear during business travel
