Business traveler invents special air travel toiletries

Anyone who's been on business travel knows that the Transportation Security Administration has strict rules regarding toiletries. Each person is allowed to bring only so much liquid in their carry-on - a 3.4-ounce bottle placed in a quart-sized bag - and this includes drinks, lotions and other common fluids. And leaving your liquids in your suitcase can lead to unfortunate spills that ruin clothes. That's why business traveler Kevin Garrity developed the Squeeze Pod.

The Squeeze Pod is a container that takes up little space in your bag. The package contains disposable packets of lotion, hand sanitizer, shave cream, and air freshener. It's entirely TSA compliant, which means you can keep it on-hand when you board the plane. After using the contents of the packets, you can throw them away rather than carrying partially used bottles when you make your return flight.

Since the items are compact and easy to carry, travelers can bring them to meetings or store them in their business car rental for use while on the go. Garrity also has plans to develop a line of Squeeze Pods that come with bodywash, shampoo and conditioner.
