Carry-on must-haves for business travelers

Airlines generally mandate that each passenger is allowed to bring one piece of carry-on luggage aboard the plane free of charge and that it must be less than 45 inches in combined height, width and length. That's why it's important to choose the right items to pack in your handy bag. Business travelers may want to consider these essentials for a frequent flyer:
Reusable filtration bottle
Rather than spending money on water filtration tablets or filtered water during your trip, invest in a reusable bottle with a built-in filtration system, which tend to cost between $20 and $25. Not only does this save the environment from unnecessary harm, but it can add up to big savings over time.
First aid kit
A tablet of aspirin only costs a few cents, but if you're on the go and need some pain reliever, you may end up having to buy an entire bottle or over-priced single-dose package from a corner shop or gas station. Prepare for life's little mishaps by including a small first aid kit in your carry-on - it should have bandages, essential medicines, cough drops and other basics.
From the time they board the plane until they roll up to the hotel in their long term car rentals, travelers can build up quite an appetite. Rather than buying high-priced, unhealthy food aboard the flight or at a convenience store, bring along a bag of nuts, small sandwich, fresh fruit or other affordable, nutritious snacks for the trip.
