Thrifty Blue Chip Rewards

Recently, Thrifty® Blue Chip Rewards made exciting changes to the program. Members will earn points instead of credits for rentals. Members will now be able to redeem points for free rentals online!

No more waiting for certificates to come in the mail. No need to bring certificates to a location when you rent. 

The Thrifty Blue Chip Rewards Terms and Conditions will be updated to include the program changes.  After February 4, 2016 - your next rental utilizing the Thrifty Blue Chip Rewards Program will constitute your acceptance of the amended terms and conditions .

The details:

• Members will earn one point per qualifying U.S. dollar spent on rentals.
• Members can refer to the Point Redemption chart when redeeming points for Weekday, Weekend and Weekly rentals.
• Free rentals are for Compact, Mid-size, Standard or Full-size cars only.
• Free rentals are eligible at participating Thrifty locations in the United States and Canada.
• Free rentals can be issued to the member ONLY and are non-transferable.
• Blackout dates apply.

What to expect if you already are a Thrifty Blue Chip Rewards member:

• All active certificates will expire February 4, 2016.
• Existing rental credits in your account will convert to 40 points per credit.
• If you have an unused, unexpired free day certificate, it will convert to 625 points—enough for a free weekday rental.
• If you’ve made a reservation using a free day certificate, you’re all set and will not need to bring the certificate with you to the counter.  Customer Care will be contacting you to see how many certificates you plan to redeem.
• All future rewards redemptions will be done online.

Terms and Conditions:

Reward points are not replaceable, transferable or combinable with any other promotion, offer or non-discountable rate. Thrifty has the right to change, limit or modify Program rules, regulations, rewards and point levels at any time and without notice. Thrifty has the right to end the Program by providing six months’ prior written notice to actively participating members. In the event of termination of the Program, reward points must be redeemed or they will be forfeited. Points earned do not expire as long as you have Thrifty Blue Chip Rewards activity in the prior 24 months. Activity means a Thrifty Blue Chip Rewards point was either earned or redeemed on a rental. The Program may be suspended or terminated if events beyond the company’s control such as computer equipment or electronic data transmission failure, strikes, natural disaster, civil disturbance or war materially affect the company’s ability to perform the Program.
