Oregon Car Rental - Oregon Rental Cars

Ready to explore the sundry landscape of Oregon? The Beaver State is known for its beautiful Pacific coastline, mesmerizing waterfalls and thick forests. Here are a few things to see and do in Oregon:

Explore the City

Rose City, Stumptown, PDX - Portland goes by many names and has a wide range of activities and attractions to keep you entertained. The city is renowned for its many coffee houses, gorgeous gardens and variety of museums. With your Portland rental car, you can discover all the sights. Hit downtown Portland to visit the shopping district, and don’t hold back, because the city doesn’t have a sales tax. Afterward, head over to the Pearl District, where you’ll find several designer boutiques, vintage stores, art galleries and the biggest independent bookstore in the world. Pack the family in and visit the Oregon Zoo, which is famous for its African Rain Forest exhibit. If you find yourself here on a weekend, stop by the Portland Saturday Market, the largest outdoor arts and crafts market in the country.

Swing by Salem

After visiting Portland, head an hour south and take in Salem. As Oregon’s capital, Salem is home to the state’s Capitol building and is rich in history. Enjoy its multitude of colorful public and residential gardens, and stop by some of the city’s many estates, like the Historic Deepwood Estate - this building dates back to the 1890s and was designed by renowned architect W.C. Knighton. While you’re there, grab a drink at one of Salem’s breweries, wineries and cideries, and don’t miss the famous Victorian-era Bush House Museum.

Discover the Expansive Oregon Coast

Western Oregon lines the Pacific Ocean, creating more than 360 miles of beautiful, sandy beaches known as the Oregon Coast. Sit back and relax on the beach, or scale some of the coast’s massive dunes - some reach as high as 500 feet. If fishing’s your game, grab a rod and reel and catch yourself some salmon, or stop by Siletz Bay, where you can learn to crab and clam. Take your Oregon car rental  over to Mt. Hood National Forest - along with a beautiful view, it offers horseback riding, an adventure park and other fun family activities.
