Fly into the Place to Be in your Thrifty Rental Car

When you arrive at Natashquan Airport, pick up your Quebec City rental car and hit the historic streets of Quebec City, where you’ll find unique things to do in this metropolis along the St. Lawrence River. Founded in 1608, it’s one of the oldest cities in North America.

Montmorency Falls

At the mouth of the Montmorency River and spilling into the St. Lawrence River, this breathtaking waterfall is a sight to behold. There are several ways to view the falls. You can take the aerial tram that runs between the top and the bottom of the falls. Climb the staircases to see the falls from different vantage points. You can also cross the suspension bridge at the falls’ crest and get an unforgettable view.

The Ice Hotel (Hôtel de Glace)

Be sure to stop by in your rental car and see the only ice hotel in North America. Here, everything is made of ice, from the walls to the furniture. Have a seat at the bar and get a drink served in a glass made of ice. Tour the grand hall and see the grand ice slide. It’s open from January through March and is completely reconstructed each year. With 50 workers, it takes roughly a month and a half to build.

Parc Aquarium du Québec

Seated along the Saint Lawrence River, this facility showcases more than 10,000 specimens of mammals, reptiles, fish and other aquatic life. See polar bears, seals and walruses frolic in the amazing Arctic Sector. And don’t miss the "Awesome Ocean," where you can get a unique perspective by viewing this large basin from a view from underneath.

Old Quebec

You might think you’ve been transported to Europe as you visit the charming part of town known as Old Quebec. See horse drawn carriages, street performers and 19th century architecture, and take a walk along the Dufferin Terrace that overlooks the St. Lawrence River. Upper Town is home to many parks and institutions. In Lower Town you’ll find museums, theaters and performance venues.

Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine

This is a must-see during your trip to Quebec City. Travel in your Quebec City rental car to the countryside of the Côte-de-Beaupré region and see this gorgeous shrine that is North America's oldest pilgrimage site. A golden statue of Saint Anne is the star of the neo-Roman style basilica. Many sculptures provide inspiration and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Countless stained glass windows beautifully filter the light and enhance the majesty of this place of worship where people believe that miracles can happen.
