Designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer, this award-winning course is PGA quality and a challenging par 72. This impeccably maintained 18-hole course was designed for both the novice and the well-seasoned player. Those that need to brush up their skills can enroll in Empire Lakes “School of Golf.” Pair up with a course pro to help take few strokes off your game, all while enjoying the fresh air and scenic mountain ranges. Reservations can be made up to seven days in advance. And if you don’t already have your clubs in the back of your Ontario rental car, Empire Lakes offers rentals at a reasonable charge.

Ontario Improv

California Route 66 Museum

You don’t have to drive the famous route in your Thrifty rental car to take part in the adventure of the open road. Get more than your kicks on route 66 — get educated. The museum showcases the “Mother Road” that transformed from an early pioneer trail to the legendary road that brought culture and convenience to the western United States.

Graber Olive House

Californians owe their abundance of olive trees to the Franciscan missionaries from Spain who planted the first olive trees in San Diego in 1769. Graber Olive House has been an operating olive farm since 1894. Visitors can take guided tours and learn how Mr. Graber created what is famously known as Ontario’s oldest existing business and one of California’s finest delicacies.
