Have a seat at the bar and get a drink served in a glass made of ice. Tour the grand hall and see the grand ice slide. It’s open from January through March and is completely reconstructed each year. With 50 workers, it takes roughly a month and a half to build.
Parc Aquarium du Québec
Seated along the Saint Lawrence River, this facility showcases more than 10,000 specimens of mammals, reptiles, fish and other aquatic life. See polar bears, seals and walruses frolic in the amazing Arctic Sector. And don’t miss the "Awesome Ocean," where you can get a unique perspective by viewing this large basin from a view from underneath.
Old Quebec
You might think you’ve been transported to Europe as you visit the charming part of town known as Old Quebec. See horse drawn carriages, street performers and 19th century architecture, and take a walk along the Dufferin Terrace that overlooks the St. Lawrence River. Upper Town is home to many parks and institutions. In Lower Town you’ll find museums, theaters and performance venues.
Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine
This is a must-see during your trip to Quebec City. Travel in your Quebec City rental car to the countryside of the Côte-de-Beaupré region and see this gorgeous shrine that is North America's oldest pilgrimage site.
