Riverfront Park
At Riverfront Park, located off the south bank of the Arkansas River, visitors can learn about Little Rock's history. Spread out over 33 acres, the park has fields and running paths, but also historical monuments. The most noteworthy of those is La Petit Roche Plaza, which explains the upbringing of city founder Benard de la Harpe, the origins of the land and how Little Rock received its name.
