Los Angeles is well known for its beautiful weather and potential for sightings of famous actors and actresses. Its residents work mainly in health services, aerospace and technology and it's clear they have influenced the infrastructure and museums here. Head to these three attractions where historical pasts meet futures full of potential:

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

This stadium has hosted the 1959 Major League Baseball World Series, Super Bowl l and Vll, two Olympic games and even three presidential visits: John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and Richard M. Nixon. It also temporarily housed various National Basketball Association, National College Athletics Association, International Hockey League and American Baseball Association teams since it was opened in 1923. The U.S. government and the State of California declared the Coliseum a federal and state historical landmark in 1984 for its major contributions to the area and nations history. Catch a glimpse of sporting legends at this Los Angeles stadium and root for the Trojans football team.

Walt Disney Concert Hall

The Los Angeles Philharmonic calls this performing arts institution its home base. Since 1919, the concert hall has offered one of the most sophisticated venues for contemporary, jazz and world music in the country. Famous works by Debussy and Schumann, Haydn and Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Tan Dun have all been performed here. There are often holiday-related shows, like "Alice in Wonderland" around Easter or "The Nutcracker" near Christmas time. This massive, beautiful building is equally impressive in looks and sound. You're sure to hear incredible music performed by talented musicians at this Los Angeles staple.

California Science Center
