Will my own car insurance cover damage to the rental car?

You should check your policy or consult your insurance agent or insurer. Liability Insurance Supplement provides primary protection and would first have to be exhausted before your policy would apply to a claim.

What does Personal Effects Insurance cover?

Personal Effects Coverage offers up to $600 per person ($500 in NY) and up to $1800 ($1500 in NY) maximum coverage for all claims during any rental for loss or damage to covered personal effects owned by you or any immediate family members in the car.

What does Personal Accident Insurance cover?

Up to the limits of liability provided, you will be covered for any accidental injuries during your rental, whether or not you’re in the car. Passengers in the car at the time of an accident are also covered.
